Wadi Dyani grew up in the Eastern Cape in Mdantsane, East London. She currently lives in Masiphumelele, Cape Town. Wadi started her activism in high school, campaigning for community clinics to adopt a more adolescent-friendly stance under the National Adolescent Friendly Clinic Initiative Facilitated by Love Life. She joined Love Life in 2004 as a Groundbreaker facilitator, the primary role of which was to initiate a motivation program in schools and local clinics. She has a qualification in bookkeeping, and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Public Management at False Bay College. She is passionate about youth empowerment.
