Seth Deacon is the Visual Materials Developer & Curator at Tshisimani Centre for Activist Education. He obtained his Masters in Fine Art in 2009 where his theoretical focus was on the gaze as an agent of power in an intersectional context, especially focusing on race, gender, sexuality and violence. He has since concentrated on scientific and medical depictions of the human body. He has also taught Digital Art at the University of KwaZulu Natal and Multimedia Design, and practices as a visual and digital artist.
